"There She Goes Again" is a song by The Velvet Underground. It first appeared on their 1967 debut album The Velvet Underground & Nico. The syncopated guitar riff is taken from the 1962 Marvin Gaye song, "Hitch Hike", but is most likely influenced by The Rolling Stones' cover version, from their 1965 album Out of Our Heads.

There have been several notable covers of the song including, a B-side on the 1983 R.E.M. single ,"Radio Free Europe" (and as such appeared on their B-side compilation Dead Letter Office in 1987) and on Big Star's album "Third/Sister Lovers". It was also included as a bonus track on the 1993 re-release of R.EM.'s 1983 album Murmur.[1]
